Carioca da Gema is a must-visit spot for anyone who wants to experience true samba. The food and drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are genuinely attentive. On my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of being there during the venue’s 25th anniversary celebration. It was a truly special moment that made the night unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to everyone. If you’d prefer not to stand, I suggest purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee a table. Congratulations to Carioca da Gema for keeping the authentic samba scene alive and thriving!
Absolutely amazing. I was there on Sunday and the Samba music was incredibly good, along with the atmosphere. Highly recommended — 100% authentic.
Very nice bar with live music
Simply amazing experience. The band the servers the crowd- everyone had a very warm and inviting attitude. As a jazz fan to me this felt like the village vanguard of samba. Crowd was dancing together and singing along while music played well past midnight. Drinks were delicious as well I recommended the caipirinha
